Challenge your comfort zone

Challenge your comfort zone

How many of you have battled with your thoughts to build up the courage to do something and then once you did it you realised it wasn’t that bad?
We find what’s comfortable and we stick to that because it’s what we know and when something out of the normal happens we freak.

Let’s work on winning the mind battles… The more we test our comfort zone by stepping out of it we increase the bubble of ‘discomfort’.

The way I have found it easier to step out of my comfort zone at times is by doing things I am not good at, don’t necessarily like or just simply get anxiety thinking about I do.
For example I’m not the best at reading so I force myself to read, I don’t like running on a treadmill its boring so I run for 1hr, I get anxiety when I public speak so I make sure I do it…

The more we test these limits the easier it is to accept and just do something.
You then start to think like this… Well if I can do that then I can do this. Then when a new challenge comes up you then think well I did that challenge the other day and that other hard challenge a month ago I can defiantly do this.

It’s all about building confidence and resilience to believe in yourself… So my challenge to you after reading this is too think of something that you find uncomfortable and going for it. You can start little and build or you can be like me and dive head first into the deep end.
Your choice because remember what I always say… YOU ARE IN CONTROL.
