Do what's best for you.. not the trainer

I do not consider myself the 'perfect' trainer... There are many things I still don't know and can learn BUT what I do want people to know this year if you are new to the gym or have trained for a while is:

1. If a trainer takes food away from you and limits your calories to under 2000cals.... RUN This should be gradually done and ONLY done if you plateau and AGAIN after you have tried to increase exercise! Taking away food is the last resort. Minimum I have ever gone is 1600cals and was for 2-4 week blocks

2. If you are new to the gym and a trainer has you doing a double session (one morning one arvo) RUN. This will increase your chance of injury

3. Lastly if your trainer asks about your goals and then after you have time them follows up with a "hmm I think my way will work so let's try this" HASN'T got your best interests in mind and will not help you reach your goals soo... RUN!

Be smart and put yourself first!
