We have all dealt with situations at times where we are wanting to retaliate because of an overwhelming emotion. We sit there and use all our energy to either build up the ultimate text msg, yelling battle over a phone, smart ass post on social media or even a massive paragraph in the comments section.

We have all been guilty of this but think about it, you are using your energy on that person or situation that’s upset you instead of channelling that energy to better yourself.
Think about how much energy you use on those situations either physically, mentally or emotionally. Think about that 10 mins you spent typing a negative msg when you could have been working on yourself doing 10 minutes of mediation or reading a book, think about the 30min phone call yelling at someone when you could have been outside enjoying the sun listening to a podcast or audiobook and think of that post on social media/comment or caption you want to write to get back at someone when there is a high chance they won’t even see it… Instead you could of posted a nice photo of you smiling to make someone else smile and maybe leaving an empowering quote to help others.
Now these are just simple examples but I do think the most common.
Think next time how are you going to use YOUR energy? Will it be on something negative that may not even need a response or will you use YOUR energy on YOU!
